Print Fundraiser - Documentary Partnership with Kind Human Foundation in India

On June 1st 2026, I will be departing to India in partnership with the Kind Human Foundation. Together with their local partners in Andhra Pradesh, we will be working on sites to bring clean water to places in most need.

The work includes continuing to nurture the relationships between communities and grassroots organizations, establishing new clean water sites, maintenance of previously established sites, and gathering updated information on resources and sustainability.

The timing of this work is intentional as May is typically the hottest and most humid month, leading into June which is the start of India's monsoon season. It is crucial to develop long-term water sources, particularly in rural areas, as the shallow water sources many families rely on—like ponds, rivers, and open wells—often become contaminated or disappear by late May, forcing exhausting daily journeys just to find water.

Where your financial contribution from purchasing a print will go:

None of my international work is paid work (yet). I try to sell carefully selected prints from past efforts, to financially support the communities represented in those photographs, and help fund getting to the next location. This work matters, access to essential resources matter, building new systems matter, and other people's stories matter.

Considering that all organizations involved are incredibly small, any funds that Kind Human Foundation has available should be spent on clean water building efforts that will positively impact the communities in rural areas in Andhra Pradesh.

By purchasing a print, you will be directly helping me cover the cost of travel and essential needs without needing to further deplete any funds from the Kind Human Foundation that could be used elsewhere. You will also be directly helping the families I met in Berkaber, an Armenia-Azerbaijan border village, during my partnership with Sahman NGO in 2025.
